Mastering works within the confounds of a stereo file; any processing
applied affects the entire mix. It’s always better to fix a problem at the
source, which allows mastering to focus on enhancing your music.

Away from music, I spend as much time possible exploring the mountains, mostly alpine
climbing and backcountry skiing. I also enjoy SUP, biking, backpacking, and a well-balanced
IPA -- just a typical Colorado native. As a reborn homebody, I cherish time working around
the property, improving the studio, and sharing evenings on the patio with my partner,
our furry children, Voo & Mooch, and eight wonderful egg-makers (chickens!).
